Description

5/5/26- For sale is a Colt 1911 slide from around 1913. There is significant patina and wear on the frame but no spots of obvious rust. The slide has patent dates of up to 1911, indicating it was manufactured before the 1913 patent date was added. The slide is stamped with "Colt's Pt. F. A....Hartford Ct. U.S.A.", with portions of the manufacturer stamp worn away or otherwise obscured. The prancing horse emblem is entirely missing. The other side is stamped "Model of 1911 U.S. Army". The firing pin appears to be present but there are no springs, bushings, or other components included. Overall in fair condition.
