Description
8/8/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1816 Musket that was converted to percussion fire. The rifle was originally manufactured in 1818. The metal has worn itself to a dull grey finish with a layer of patina. The stock shows its age and plenty of handling marks. There is notable damage to the surface on the right side of the stock going up to the top along the buttplate. There is a .5" crack behind the lock plate. The bore is dark towards the muzzle but retains brightness towards the receiver end.
