09/18/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor chambered in .45-70 Gov't made in 1891. The rifle is in good shape for its age. The bluing on the barrel has aged to a mixture of blue/grey/brown with patina and tarnish. The stock has a few hard dings but no cracks or breaks. The SWP 1891 Inspector stamp is still clear. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle is equipped with the ramrod bayonet.
