Description

1/23/23 - This is a commercial Colt Government Model 1911 whose serial dates it to either very late 1914, or very early in 1915. The original bluing doesn't have a ton of finish loss, but there is surface freckling and oxidation in several areas. The pistol also have some surface scratches, and there's standard bluing wear around the muzzle, on the straps and right side of slide. Commercial barrel with minty bore. It's a correct example with P over chamber and J on side of lug. Nice wood grips with no cracks or chips. Original two-tone mag.
