Description

3/12/21 - This is a very nice example of an original Colt Government Model 1911 from 1920. It has a beautiful profile with only minor high edge wear on slide and a little thinning on the front strap, but most of the bluing loss is on the mainspring housing and grip safety. Fantastic, sharply checkered grips. Early, two-tone magazine. Bore has strong rifling but minor frost in the grooves.
