5/12/26 - This is a very nice example of an earlier commercial Colt Government Model 1911A1 from 1926. It is all correct and the slide is numbered and matching. It has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish Colt bluing. The majority of the actual finish loss comes in the form of spotty/scratchy wear on the front strap, but there is also noticeable high edge wear on the slide, muzzle wear, and some surface scratches here and there. Fitted with excellent checkered wood grips and comes with a two-tone magazine. The bore has strong rifling with some minor frosting in the grooves.
