9/29/25 - This is a Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver, manufactured in 1855 and chambered in .36 Caliber. It is completely matching, and there are "Crown V" and "Crown P" British proofs of London on the barrel and cylinder. This indicates the gun was in England at some point. The original Naval Engagement scene on the cylinder shows roughly 30% visibility. The gun has lost virtually all of its finish with honest patina throughout. Some small dings in the metal here and there. Fitted with nice wood grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is spotty surface rust and oxidation throughout. Fully functional
