5/27/26 - This is a Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver, manufactured in 1866 and chambered in .36 Caliber. It is all matching except for the loading rod, which is not numbered. The original naval engagement scene on the cylinder has less than 10% visibility. The finish is completely gone with noticeable pitting throughout. The finish almost appears to have been lightly sand-blasted or wire-brushed. The bore has great rifling for its age with minor surface oxidation throughout. Fully functional. No FFL required.
