Description
6/4/26 - This is a Colt Model 1878 Frontier Six Shooter, manufactured in 1899 and chambered in .44-40. 5.5 inch barrel. The entire gun has been refinished, and it shows virtually no finish loss. Fitted with proper blackish-brown hard rubber grips - some minor wear and rounding around the edges. The bore shows decent rifling, but there is noticeable pitting throughout. The gun is functional, but the trigger does not always return all the way when firing in double action. This is an antique, so no FFL is required.
