Description
7/8/26 - This is a Colt Model 1878 Frontier Six Shooter, manufactured in 1905 and chambered in .44-40. 7.5 inch barrel. It has retained roughly 70% of its original finish. The majority of the actual finish loss is along the barrel, on the ejector rod tube, and on the grip straps. But there are areas of spotty oxidation/patina, scratchy wear, and handling marks/dings on most of the gun. Fitted with proper blackish-brown hard rubber grips. The bore has great rifling, but there is freckling throughout with some scratches here and there. Fully functional.
