Description

6/8/23 - This is a somewhat scarce military Colt Model 1901 that was made in 1901. The 'Model 1901' designation is actually when the gun was sent back to Colt for modification, in this case to have the lanyard ring added. The gun has all matching numbers and there is an RAC military inspection stamp on the left side of the frame and bottom of the grip panels. The face of the cylinder is marked 'K.S.M.' who was a separate inspector. Generally nice, original finish with minor cylinder and barrel wear, and some patina on the grip frame. Minty bore. Good mechanically.
