10/6/20 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1905 Military, chambered in .45 ACP. From the serial, it was manufactured in 1907. This is an early example and one of only about 6,000 produced. Beautiful case-hardening on the hammer. This particular gun is all matching and in very nice condition. It has retained roughly 70% of its original Colt bluing. There is minor muzzle wear and wear on the high edges of the slide. There are spotty handling marks on the whole gun but most significant on the straps and underside of the frame. There are areas of pitting on the back strap. Excellent grips. Comes with one proper magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there are areas of pitting.
