Description
8/18/26 - This is an early WWI Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1915. It has all the proper markings, but the barrel is a replacement marked with British proofs. The gun has retained roughly 50% of its original bluing. There is honest wear and finish loss throughout with areas of very light brown patina (mostly on the slide). There is some light scratching mostly on the right side of the gun. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a reproduction lanyard loop magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
