Description
1/14/26 - This is a very nice Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is "United States Property" marked, has the proper "GHD" inspection initials, and has a military cross-canon cartouche. It has a correct Colt 45 Auto barrel. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its original parkerized finish. There is just some very minor thinning on the front strap and minor high edge / muzzle wear. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with a proper "R" marked magazine. The bore has strong rifling with some very light frosting in the grooves.
