Description
5/11/26 - This is a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is "United States Property" marked, has the proper "GHD" inspection initials, and has a military cross-canon cartouche. It has a proper Colt barrel with an "F" under the lug. The gun has retained only roughly 20% of its finish. The slide was covered in cold blue, which we did our best to remove. The finish shows obvious thinning throughout. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with a parkerized magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is spotty surface oxidation throughout.
