Description
10/17/25 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Police Positive Revolver, manufactured in 1912 and chambered in .32 Caliber. These were produced in the early 20th century for both law enforcement and civilian use. Introduced in 1905, the Police Positive featured a six-shot swing-out cylinder and Colt’s innovative “Positive Lock” safety, making it a favorite of police departments across the U.S. during a period of rapid urban growth. This one is matching and has retained about 95% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the wear is around the muzzle, but there is also minor high edge wear, and a few small dots of surface oxidation here and there. Fitted with checkered black hard rubber grips - chips on the bottom edge of each panel. The bore is mostly shiny with great rifling, but there is some light surface freckling here and there.
