Description

8/11/21 - This is a nice example of a 1924 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, all original with matching numbers. Accompanied by a factory letter indicating shipment as a blue .38-40 5 - 1/2" gun sent to Arizona Hardware Company, Phoenix, Arizona, in a shipment of 1 sent march 1st, 1924. Excellent condition aside from the finish loss on the grip frame and ejector rod. Beautiful case hardening on receiver and hammer. Original 2 piece gutta percha grips are excellent with no major signs of distress and checkering worn from handling but present. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore is bright with crisp rifling. A high condition example.
