Description
9/29/25 - This is a Mauser C96 Broomhandle rig with a matching stock. It's a wartime commercial example, made in 1914 or 1915. This example is all matching including the grips, with proper "Double Crown U" proof stamps. The original blue rates at roughly 85-90%, with wear on the underside of the barrel and around the muzzle, and some thinning on the magazine floorplate. There is also typical finish loss from the high edges that rub against the inside of the stock. Some areas of very light oxidation here and there. Light dings on the front of the magazine section of the frame and on the left side of the barrel in front the bolt. Some mild specks of oxidation on the top of the bolt itself and the rear sight adjustment. The original grips remain on the pistol and are matching numbered to the frame. The matching stock is in mostly great condition, but there are surface level dings and handling marks throughout, but no major chips, cracks, or repairs. Some patina and discoloration on the metal surfaces of the stock, but overall functionality is not affected. Bore has strong rifling but is frosted throughout.
