Description

9/4/25 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser C96 sold in the commercial market between 1911-1915 and chambered in 7.63mm Mauser. It is all matching (including the grips) and "Double Crown U" proofed. The gun's original finish rates somewhere between 85-90%. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of spotty discoloration and pin-pricking along the barrel. There is also general high edge wear and a few tiny surface scratches on the front edge of the frame. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
