5/18/26 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser C96 sold in the commercial market between 1911-15. It is all matching and properly "Double Crown U" proofed. It comes with its original matching-numbered stock. The gun has retained about 94% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on the front edge of the frame, but there is also general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some oxidation on the front strap, some scratches and marks along the barrel and on the front edge of the frame, and one light scratch on the left side of the frame. Bright fire-blue on the small parts. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has great rifling with an area of light pin-pricking.
