Description
5/17/26 - This is an example of a Mauser Model 1914 that was issued to the German Army during WW1, most likely being issued to a German officer. All matching with an Imperial military proof on the top of the slide near the rear sight. It was later exported, as evidenced by the "Germany" markings on the top of the frame and the left side plate. The gun has retained about 95-96% of its original bluing with high-edge wear, muzzle wear, extractor wear, and light front strap thinning. Fitted with a period-correct one-piece wood grip in excellent condition. Bore is bright with excellent rifling.
