Description
3/23/26 - This is a nice example of a Post-WWI Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market. It is matching, properly "Double Crown U" proofed, and has a "Germany" export marking on the right side of the frame (means it was likely sold in the US retail market). The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also general high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with a period-correct wood grip and comes with one proper magazine. Unfortunately, the barrel has a bulge in it. Otherwise, the bore has pretty good rifling with some minor fouling in the grooves.
