Description
6/16/26 - This is a nice example of a Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market after WWI, in the 1920's. It is all matching and "Double Crown U" proofed. There is a "Germany" export marking on the right side of the frame, indicating it was sold in the international commercial market, most likely the US. It has retained roughly 85% of its original bluing with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and areas of wear on the front strap, on the right side of the frame, and at the back left of the slide. Very nice fire blue on the small parts. Fitted with a period-correct wood grip - minor bruising on both sides. It comes with a police arsenal-numbered magazine that is not matching to the gun. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
