Description
4/16/26 - This is a very nice Walther PPK sold in the commercial market in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with a wartime finger extension magazine, one Walther banner-only spare magazine, a near un-issued black leather leading edge Akah holster. This gun was captured by US GI Sylvester Alabnese at the end of WW2. It comes with the original copy of the capture document that lists this exact gun by serial number and a photocopy of Sylvester's enlistment paperwork. The gun's original finish rates about 93% of its original high polish bluing. There is just minor muzzle wear, a couple of small spots of wear on the right side of the slide, and one small area of wear on the underside of the trigger guard. Fitted with a correct brown grip - small crack on the left side. The bore has great rifling with just some minor frosting in the grooves.
