Description
7/7/26 - This is a nice example of a Webley & Scott Mark VI revolver, manufactured in 1918. It is matching, has the proper Birmingham proofs, and has a "Made in England" commercial export marking on the right side of the frame. It was originally chambered in .455 but was later shaved to accept .45 ACP. The gun's original finish rates somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some areas of spotty brown patina, and some marks and dings here and there (most noticeable along the barrel). Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown hard rubber grips - chips in the bottom edges on both sides. Very nice bore with great rifling.
