Description
6/18/26 - This is a very nice example of an early Colt Police Positive, manufactured in 1913 and chambered in .38 Caliber. All matching and has retained about 94-95% of its original high polish finish. Early "surfboard" Colt logo on the frame. The majority of the wear is around the muzzle, but there is also high edge wear on the cylinder, some scratching on the right side of the barrel and left side of the frame, and some patina/dulling on the grip straps. Nice fire bluing on the small parts. Fitted with period-correct black hard rubber grips - tiny hairline crack on the bottom edge of the left panel. The bore has strong rifling, but there are some spots of noticeable surface oxidation. Comes with a more modern black leather holster.
