Description
5/11/26 - This is a nice example of a scarce and early Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1914. It has all the correct markings and has the proper early "H P" Colt barrel. The gun has an old re-blued finish with areas of minor pitting under the finish throughout. Some spotty discoloration and patina here and there. The "United States Property" marking on the left side of the frame has some strike marks through it. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips - some honest wear on both sides. Comes with a proper lanyard loop magazine that has been re-blued. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
