Description
7/13/26 - This is a nice example of a fairly early Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1932. All matching with the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. There is an "1178" number stamped into the front strap - we assume this is some sort of rack or inventory number. It has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish with thinning and brown patina on the grip straps and areas of spotty wear on both sides of the slide. There is also some spotty oxidation with pin-pricking here and there on the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct weighted grips - there is cracking on both sides. Comes with a Walther banner magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
