Description
10/6/26 - This is a very nice example of an early Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer, manufactured in 1904 and chambered in .38 Rimless. The original high polish bluing rates roughly 85%, with spotty wear on the back strap and areas of thinning with light brown patina on the slide, along with some very light surface scratches here and there. Fire blue on the small parts with case hardening on the hammer. Fitted with excellent period-correct blackish brown hard rubber grips and comes with one proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling. An attractive early example that still shows its fire blue and case colors.
