1/13/26 - This is a very nice example of an early commercial Colt Government Model 1911, manufactured in 1915. The gun is all correct and original - the slide is numbered and matching, and it has a correct commercial barrel. It has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, so the profile views are fairly nice. There is, however, general high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with excellent period-correct checkered wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
