Description
2/25/26 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1905 Military, chambered in .45 ACP. This particular gun has a fairly early serial number and was manufactured in 1906. One of only about 6,000 produced. This one has retained roughly 65% of its original finish. There is general thinning and light pin-pricking throughout with some areas of light patina. Some fire-bluing still partially visible on the extractor and trigger. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips and comes with a blued magazine. The bore shows decent rifling, but there is obvious pitting and surface oxidation throughout.
