Description
10/13/25 - This is a very early Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1913. It is "United States Property" marked and has the proper military inspection proof. Correct early half-moon rear sight. The barrel is Colt but it is a little too late for this gun. The gun has been completely refinished with a parkerized finish. There is almost no actual finish loss, but there is some very light pin-pricking under the finish here and there. Fitted with reproduction wood grips. Comes with a lanyard loop magazine that has been buffed toward the top end. The bore is has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting and fouling in the grooves.
