Description

4/21/22 - This is a fantastic example of a very early and desirable Colt SP1 that predates the Vietnam War. Dates to either one of the last made in 1965, or first in 1966. All original with 98-99% finish remaining, just very minor surface scuffing. Barrel is 'M' marked, and the early barrel is marked '12' on underside, indicating it has the 1x12 inch twist. Three prong flash hider is present, as is bayonet lug. Early triangular handguards and early style buttstock, with no provisions for internal storage. Minty bore and C&R eligible.
