3/6/19 - This is a fantastic example of a very early and desirable Colt SP1 that predates the Vietnam War. Colt website dates the serial to 1964, and the serial implies this is the 1252nd ever made. All original with 96-98% finish remaining, showing only minor wear on the barrel and flash hider. Barrel is 'M' marked, and upper portion of receiver shows C proof in square. Early barrel is marked '12' on underside, indicating it has the 1x12 inch twist. Three prong flash hider is present, as is bayonet lug. Early triangular handguards and early style buttstock, with no provisions for internal storage. Minty bore and original sling. C&R eligible.Specifications
