9/23/26 - This is a very nice example of an early Mauser C96 sold in the commercial market in 1916-18. All matching and properly "Double Crown U" proofed. It comes with its original matching-numbered stock (sticker on the back with a noticeable crack in the body). The gun has retained about 90-92% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some some streaks of wear along the underside of the barrel, and some light surface scratches here and there. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has good rifling with just light frosting throughout.
