Description
6/5/26 - This an early, second-year Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1930. It is matching, "Crown N" proofed, and has the proper early features, such as extended barrel, "upside down" serial number", heavy hammer, and fat safety lever. It comes as a rig with a later wartime magazine (cold blued, pitting on the base) and a generic black leather holster with a skull and cross bones on the back. The gun has an old re-blued finish, and much of the gun is covered in cold blue. Splotchy discoloration throughout. There are areas of pitting here and there, heaviest and most obvious around the left side of the muzzle, around the safety, and a the base of the back strap. Fitted with reproduction grips. The bore has strong rifling and is mostly shiny, but there is some freckling in the grooves.
