Description

12/4/20 - This is an all original, rare and early Remington 1911A1. It has all original early Dulite finish in about 98-99% condition. The serial number places it right in the middle of the range for the 1st and 2nd variation guns. This gun is in fact a hybrid, transitional gun with a 1st Model frame and a 2nd Model slide. We believe that it is in it's original configuration (the way it left the factory) due to the perfect match in wear and color between the slide and frame. The barrel is correct and minty - HS marked. It has the correct early parts including the early, no ring screw hole grips, and the fine checkered main spring housing. Excellent bore. Excellent mechanics.
