Description

8/14/20 - This is an original Sauer 38h rig issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is an early production example. The gun comes with a holster and two original, period-correct magazines. The gun has the proper "Eagle 37" Nazi military acceptance proof on the tang. It is in very nice condition overall, retaining about 85% of its original bluing. Generally, there is muzzle and high edge wear. There are also light surface scratches and a few small spots of wear along both sides of the slide. The back strap of the gun is thin and there is spotty wear on the front strap. The bore is minty - shiny with strong rifling. Excellent original grips. The holster is waffenamt and dated 1942. It is generally in very nice condition except that someone etched their name into the back.
