Description

12/11/20 - This is a rare "S" Code Krieghoff Luger issued to the Luftwaffe in 1935-36. It is a rare variation, as only about 3,600 were ever produced. This one is early and has the following early features: correct Krieghoff wood grips, externally numbered side plate, and early HK logo on the toggle. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle L 2" proofs. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the straps, but there is spotty wear on the barrel and left side of the frame. There is also wear on the side plate and high edges of the frame. Spotty oxidation here and there. It comes with a period-correct Mauser magazine. The bore is very nice - strong rifling.
