Description
8/1/22 - This is an original, fairly early Smith & Wesson Model 1917 from WW1. It's a scarce sub-variation with early hammer showing a concentric circle design. The revolver is all matching and original with ~80% of the polished blue remaining. Most of the wear is on either side of the barrel and back of grip frame, with some additional wear on the cylinder. The frame is military inspector marked and the barrel is marked 'UNITED STATES PROPERTY'. Matching numbers throughout. Unmarked grips. Nice bore with just a little frost.Specifications
