Description
2/27/26 - This is an early Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in November of 1942. It has no letter suffix. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. It has retained about 90% of its original finish with minor high edge/muzzle wear, some minor thinning on the front strap, and an area of wear, discoloration, and minor pitting on the top of the barrel. A few small dings along the left edge of the barrel in the ejection port. Fitted with period-correct reddish brown phenolic grips. Comes with an "Eagle 88" marked Spreewerk magazine. The hold-open does not work properly with this mag. The bore has good rifling, but there is spotty surface oxidation throughout. De-cocker is functional.
