Description
2/11/26 - This is a nice example of a very early Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1913. It is "United States Property" marked and has the proper military inspection proof. Correct Colt "H P" barrel. The finish rates roughly 85%. The majority of the actual finish loss is concentrated on the front grip strap, but there is also wear along the high edges of the slide and muzzle wear. A few small dots of discoloration along the slide as well. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone lanyard loop magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
