Description

5/18/18 - This is a fabulous example is an early production Winchester M1 carbine - probably part of the first batch made by Winchester for the US army. It is in excellent original condition with about 90-95% of the original finish remaining.  The receiver is minty but the barrel has some thinning along it. The gun is all correct with all the original Winchester parts and had not been messed with. Original early highwood stock is super nice as well with no cracks and is correctly marked with the ordnance wheel cartouche and the WRA GHD inspector acceptance marking.  Excellent bore.
