Description
5/21/26 - This is an excellent example of an East German unlicensed copy of the Walther PP. Known as the Model P1001, these guns were made in the Ernst Thalmann factory in the 1950's. They were most often issued to the East German police and military forces. It is matching, has an import mark on the left side of the frame, and has the proper West German proofs. It comes with a finger extension magazine that has a matching electro-penciled number. The gun has retained about 98% of its finish with just very minor muzzle wear with light scratches and surface marks here and there. Fitted with black plastic Walther grips. The bore has great rifling with some areas of light frosting.
