Description

11/22/23 - This is a great condition 1874 Gras rifle bayonet with scabbard. This particular example was made in 1879 at the St.Etienne arsenal. The blade shows a minor surface patina. The edge has not been sharpened. The cross guard has a heavy patina, and the pommel has scratches and dings. Wood grips show storage aging and a few minor nicks here and there. The scabbard has a surface patina with patches of surface rust but no heavy corrosion.
