Description

2/26/25 - This is an original, iconic WW1 US M1917 Trench Knife. The knife comes complete with an original scabbard. The pyramid style blade retains much of its original blued finish showing only light scabbard wear. The hand guard also has 85+% of the original finish remaining, with light handling marks here and there. Very nice wood handle with no cracks or chips, just basic handling/storage wear. The scabbard is in great shape, with the leather having been well preserved and showing nothing more than light surface scuffs. The rivets on the scabbard do have a slight wiggle but are still well secured. Scabbard is maker marked "JEWELL 1918". Overall a really nice, well-preserved example.
