Description
5/28/26 - This is an end-of-war AC 45 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is technically all matching-numbered, but the barrel has been re-numbered to match. It has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. This one has a rare "Waffen 76" marked barrel, indicating it was made at the Czech FNH factory. There is a sunburst police marking on the left side of the trigger guard, indicating this gun most likely went to the East German police force after the war. The gun has a blackish "dipped" finish with minor high edge / muzzle wear, some small spots of pitting under the finish on both sides of the slide, and some dulling on the front strap. Fitted with reddish phenolic grips. Comes with an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling with very light frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
