Description
3/17/26 - This is a very nice example of an end-of-war AC 45 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. This one has a rare "Waffen 76" marked barrel, indicating it was made at the Czech FNH factory. It also shows rough machining which is correct for this late-war gun. It comes as a rig with a mint, unissued, 1945-dated holster, a "Waffen 135" proofed Mauser magazine, and one un-proofed magazine. The gun has a dark, "Russian-dipped" finish and shows almost no actual finish loss. Just a few very light surface scratches here and there. Fitted with reddish particle grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is light frosting throughout and a small area of minor pitting around the muzzle end. De-cocker is functional.
