Description
6/22/26 - From the collection of Tom Whiteman. Will include a COA. This is a nice example of a Walther PP that was put together from parts by a GI when the Walther factory was liberated at the very end of WW2. It has all the proper features of this variation. The metal is unfinished except from some blued small parts, it originally had no serial numbers (one was added later on the right side of the frame), it has no factory markings or firing proofs (meaning it never left the factory before the end of the war), it is fitted with scarce late-war wood grips, and it comes with a rare, end-of-war, phosphate, "W" marked magazine. The unfinished metal is in very nice condition overall with just some spots of minor and honest patina here and there. Mint bore.
