Description
7/2/20 - This gun has very few markings and looks like an end of war "parts" gun with left over parts from DWM, Mauser and Krieghoff. The is no date on the receiver, and the rear toggle has no factory code. The frame looks to be Krieghoff or DWM made. The barrel seems to be DWM. Other parts look like Mauser made. One thing for sure though is the right side of the receiver has a Krieghoff proof, and therefore we believe the final assembly was made at the Krieghoff factory. All of the parts are matching, both internal and external, with the exception of the magazine. We describe this gun as a Frankenstein since it was put together from parts in or around 1944 / 45. It has retained about 96% of its finish. There is thinning on the underside of the side plate, minor muzzle wear, and spots of wear at the bottom of the straps. The straw is worn on the small parts. The bore is shiny with great rifling - just minor frosting. The grips are a little worn but in good condition. It has a leftover WW1 magazine that is numbered to a different gun.Specifications
